Weekly Meetings

Regular club work nights are held every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 10:00 PM

2025-26 Operating Session Season

  • Saturday September 13, 2025 – 12:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Saturday November 08, 2025 – 12:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Saturday January 10, 2026 – 12:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Saturday March 14, 2026 – 12:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Saturday May 09, 2026 – 12:00pm to 6:30pm  (*Junk Night* session)

If you are interested in joining any of our operating sessions as a guest, please contact us at wrmrc@hotmail.com.

Note: Operating sessions are WRMRC member events. We will do our best to accommodate visiting operators, however this is dependent on session attendance numbers and available operating positions.

The WRMRC will have displays at the following local show(s). Drop in and chat with us.

  • BRESLAU WOD-NMRA TRAIN SHOW
    Sunday, Sept 28th, 2025 – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    Held at the Breslau Community Centre, 100 Andover Drive, Breslau, Ontario.
  • KITCHENER MODEL TRAIN SHOW
    Sunday, October 5th, 2025 – 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
    Held at Marshall Hall located within the Bingemans Conference Centre Building, 425 Bingemans Centre Drive, Kitchener, Ontario.

2025 WRMRC Annual General Meeting

Saturday June 14, 2025  –  4:00pm – 7:00pm.

2025 Doubleheaders Layout Tour – Saturday March 29th, 2025

It’s that time of year again!

On Saturday, 29 March 2025, our CP Sudbury Division will be open to the public in participation with the annual Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge-Guelph and area layout tour, organized by the Doubleheaders Model Railway Club. This is a self-guided tour of a large number of club and private home layouts in the area.

If you are new to the Doubleheaders tour there are approximately 25 different layouts you can visit, varying from large club setups to small N-scale pikes, and you can see everything from tinplate trains to scratch-built prototype models. However the layouts are spread over a large area, which makes it difficult to see them all in a day. So you should prepare for a full day of layout touring, and also maybe consider making this an annual, or at least semi-annual event to frequent over the years.

Please note: Though some layouts on the tour are open later, the WRMRC will only be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
